Radio Spam

Is there anyway to turn this crap off? I cannot even think in this game in a full server. infantry blah blah, sniper blah blha. noneof it seems tohelp nor does it seem to highlight anything on my useless radar.

Fun game - but extremely annoying at the same time.

Nope. I think people just do it either to piss everyoneoff or show people on radar but i hardly look at my radar so yeaa

oh wow. so that does do something on my radar . I have not noticed. and thanks for a more usefull post.

edit * anyway to shut that off? I tried all the audio options, none seem to effect it.

gonna have to chk that config file. my hit reg is terriable as well. 2005 = bad default rates I would imagine.

Actually, one of the audio options (voice over radio) controls the volume of that. Just lower it to zero. But as SIL said, communicating with it and keeping an eye on the radar is actually a crucial part of the "team awareness", needed to have a glimpse of what's going on in the battlefield ---> BF2 benchmark teamwork focus.

hey thanks a lot guy . i haven't reloaded since the other day . Not sure how i missed that setting. pretty sure there were only 3/ Will chk it out.

I understand it has a point / tactful use - but its just down right excessive. I haven't found a time yet when it wasn't. Granted I've only played like 6 rounds in teh game so far - mainly due to the radio chatter......

Join me for a few matches some day, and you will see it completely different when you experience the pure joy of getting through it an immediate response to whatever call for cover, ammo, help, satellite spotting, et al that you make. :)

aye. i still know so little about the game - but the scope of it has me hooked. I just gotta buckle down and drop a little time. Nothing like coming in Way Late to the Party.

So you want to COMPLETELY disable the Radio chat? As faar as I know, that's not possible. Let me do a quick internet search, before you take my word.

yeah man. been searching for it hard myself. doesn't seem to be a fix without some extensive audio file replacement - and then from my understanding, PB will still boot you from Ranked Servers, thus limiting your choices ...
