Optional Parameters/resolution crash

Up until the last patch this game worked fine. Now every time I start up I get a message that says it wants to start with new optional parameters, "1" if I go fullscreen or "0" if I go windowed. If I hit "ok" it merely repeats the parameter (Example: it wants to start under parameter "1 1 1 1 1" if I hit ok five times).

My best guess is the 1 and 0 parameters pertain to resolution and that the error has to do with a line of code since the update where the game no longer can read resolution settings. If any of you could provide me with launch options or at least an explanation why it's bugging out, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi! We're not quite sure yet what might be causing the issue, but we are investigating it.

Are you running the Beta version of Steam?

Have you tried fully restarting Steam to see if it resolves the issue? You may need to try doing several restarts.

I got it to work after uninstalling and reinstalling Steam. My guess is somehow the newest patch was incompatible with the version of Steam I was running.

I now have the same issue.
Upd. It has solved itself after removing all files in steam folder except steam.exe along with userdata, appcache and config folders (it's effectively just reinstalling Steam but faster and you don't need to mess with copying Steamapps folder that can be a pain in some part of your body).
