Can't get the star from "Hell Club"

This star is just so impossible, it's the very last one I have to collect to unlock World 4 but even if I am totally perfect in the level, I always die when I attempt to get the star. The screen scrolls way too fast. How can I get the star?

That's how I get it: after checkpoint I run to the small platform after slippery one as fast as I could (but without hitting beam). Then drop down as soon as you can (when beam that could hit you on top is hidden below) and run forward. Don't jump on first platform, jump on the second one. Then you want to climb right on the corner of slippery part so it doesn't slows you down and jump onto star platform. If you managed to do it, beam shouldn't hit you when you go back.
