Request: Better Multi Monitor Support
I have been wanting to mention this for awhile but I didn't want it to just be shrugged off as a "minority request"

Space Engineers is amazing and I am loving it. I wish I would have bought it a long time ago.

There is only one thing I would like to ask, can you think about adding better Multi Monitor Support?

I run a system that has three 21.5 inch monitors, and this game is awesome on it, except for the common issues with Multi monitor gaming. The common issues are, Interface aspects that aren't suppported across all monitors (minor issue), and image skewing from the center point of the screen (the father the resolution goes to the right or left the more skewing appears).

The interface issue you had already fixed when we had issues with the aspect ratio recently, but once you fixed the aspect ratio the interface went back to the main screen only. If only we could toggle that change in the settings.

The Skewing/Fisheye issue is common in all games on multi monitors, however there is a solution. The solution is to have a player camera (player view point) for each monitor. So for example, you could have a Player Camera, Right player Camera, and Left Player Camera for a Tri monitor system. The Right and Left player camera's would need to be offset and angled the correct way, but it would stop the skewing/fisheye that occurs from the large resolutions for Multi Monitor gaming.

Here is an example of multiple player cameras on a Tri monitor system. This is a racing game called iRacing.

Space engineers would be amazing if it supported this.

Hopefully you devs seriously consider this.
Thanks.

Whoa! That is absolutely fresh. If SE does this I'm definitely upgrading my system. I can already picture being able to feel the whole cockpit. Great idea!

I also think that there are more uses for a multi camera viewpoint system in the game. For example,Security cams. Or even camera's you can install on the back of your ships to make sure your not going to hit something when your in cockpit view.

Hopefully more people will show their interest, I'm sure that I'm not the only person playing the game with three monitors.

Only 2 monitors here. I would like to see multi-monitor local co-op once gamepad support is implemented, kinda like you can hack borderlands to do, but without the hacking.

Being able to monitor cameras, or the G screen on a second monitor would be sweet. Separate resolutions for each monitor would be nifty too!

How about a dedicated monitor for the inventory screen?

multi monitor does increase the possibilites, but as its been seen before, a lot of bigname companies even managed to eff up this sort of thing, i'd say either try to get this in ASAP or closer to release. ASAP if you think this would need much testing, closer to release if you think you can handle it.

Excellent idea. Have been playing digital combat simulator and others with trackIR and would really like SE to implement support for multiple monitors and trackIR or similar where-is-your-face-inputs.

I am a multi-monitor user and I fully support this request.
