Achievements working?

I finished the whole game, and yet received no achievements for anything. So I looked up how to get each one, went through the game again and still nothing. Are the achievements just there for show, waiting for the next patch or is it something else, any thoughts?

Not that I know of, but I've been out of the loop for a while; real life and KSP 0.24. Which reminds me, I have new techniques to try to break the physics with again...

EDIT: s/real lift/real life/, apparently my mind is in the mood to break physics with elevators again <_<

FYI - Whatever patch was pushed is still not working...not all of achievements are showing up....anyone have any updates or ideas?
