Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel
First of all I had bought ASSETO CORSA a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately it did not recognise the peddles of my old MadCatz “multi-wheel” for some reason in the Windows devices the peddles are either on or off there is nothing in-between. Some time ago (maybe Windows XP) the peddles had progression in both brake pressure and acceleration . Maybe there is a fix for that so far I have not found anything out there on the internet.

Anyway back to the subject Since I have used the Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel in Forza 4 and find it not too bad at all, good travel on the triggers for the brakes and throttle, steering is smooth and accurate. (the best bang for your buck as far as wireless wheels go and a step up from a controller to a “real wheel”) So I got the Xbox 360 wireless pc adapter windows 7 and got it working, there was a bit of an issue with the non Microsoft device but found the following workaround:

Selecting the driver
Plug in your wireless receiver if you have yet to do so. The driver installation is a little deep within several of Windows’ layers, so follow this guide carefully. This is assuming you’re running Windows 7 X64, but Windows Vista should have very similar menu structures.
1. Go to your Control Panel
2. Click on Hardware and Sound
3. Click on Device Manager under Devices and Printers
4. Scroll down the list to Other devices
5. Double-click the Unknown device
6. Click on the Hardware tab
7. Click on Update Driver
8. Select Browse my computer for driver software
9. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
10. Scroll down and select Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class and click on Next
11. Select Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows and click on Next
12. When the warning message appears, select Yes

All set last night I gave it a go only to find the sensitivity completely out of control. I did some adjustments to the settings in AC but still found it a bit of challenge. Looking here on the forums there has been some issues with the Xbox controller sensitivity. I found the thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/244210/discussions/0/666825525118702884/ in which “Mirok-jc” has kindly done some testing and has come up with the following settings :
gamma: 2.5
Filter: 0.75
Speed sensitivity: 0.15 ( depends the car you drive, i switch between 0.1 and 0.15)
Deadzone: 0.2

I will give these settings go later when I get back home and try it out on the Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel, I will let you know how it goes.

good post and good luck, ive tried the wireless wheel. It works reasonably well. but like the gamepad it too suffers from a lack of linear input or 1 to 1 rario.

I have a wired x360 steering wheel (made by Hori) that does not install when I connect it to my new computer. I do not remember having these issues with my old computer (both ran Win7 x64). Is there a similar process I can follow to get the wired one working?

thank you guys for the settings for Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel.
the gamma+filter was much important.
me used gamma 2 and filter 0.75 & speed sesitive 0 in tab advanced below wheel settings.
i choose the wheel input axis1 to 90°+ (the default 40° by wizard was to less for corners)
in the video/view settings there should also limited the
virtual steering wheel rotation limit (3d wheel in car) to 90°!
in windows 10 it appear as "XBOX 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows" + "hid ... controller"
