Change the default car setup for DK2

I'm playing with the Oculus Rift DK2 and the ingame vr ui is not implemented yet, so i can't change the car setup before driving. I tried to overwrite the default setup in non-rift-mode, but i can't find the files with the default setups.

Is there a way to overwrite the default car setup and if there is, how?

AFAIK there is no way to change the default setups with dk2 short of downloading modded versions of all the cars and editing their default setups

if there is anyway to do this I would love to know, some track/car combos are totally broken with defaults

Take pride in beating someone with the default setups when they've probably tweaked theirs for hours :P

But seriously I agree. Rather annoying not being able to do anything in the pits other than page up/down and reset the camera.
