Nürburgring hotlap how to improve?
Hello. I'm currently hotlapping Nürburgring with Z4 GT3 and looking to eventually get at least near to WR times with this car. Currently my PB is 1:59:865 and WR currently is 1:55:783 (according to RSR). If you have time and knowledge, I'd appreciate some tips and point out mistakes I made here.

The video of the hotlap:

Setup I used http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/bmw-z4-gt3-nürburgring-gp.85520/

Wheel: Logitech Driving Force GT (No clutch)

Assists: Auto clutch + ABS

The mistake I notice myself is one at 1:05. Was overly optimistic and carried too much speed into the corner. Also had some untersteer to schumacher esses due to taking too much outside kerb. Anything else?

From what I can see it seems as though your turning in a little early on every corner and coming out a little to wide on exit killing your exit speed. Also you can use alot more of the track, especially the outside edges (green areas and bumps) but in some cases I also see alot of track space not being used. Maybe someone with more experiance can post also but usually ABS never brakes as hard or quick as someone with no ABS and alot of practice.

Keep your foot down at Schumacher S and take plenty of kerb and that should gain you ~0.2-0.3s. (I dont know if you usually do or not since you did notice it yourself, either way lifting off loses you a lot of time)

Turn ABS off and set track temp to 26 degrees and go for the pro rank. Even with ingame ABS off the GT3 cars still have it

Really? Are GT3 cars the only ones to still have ABS even if you turn it off? And why track temperature to 26? Why not higher?
And thanks for the tips!

Any car that ABS in real life, have in the game, to disable press ctrl + a,
You will have to train a lot, at the begining you lock the tires, but keep trying. :steerme:

Because if you set it higher it won't be the "pro" rank and people on the official forums will take the piss out of you :)
