- Rules: game rules explanation is very poor, like there are nice plane details without any explanation how they relate to maneuvers or... to anything. The maneuver explanations are written, but not shown, which would be much more helpful.
- Game modes: there is only one, you can select a campaign. There is no option to fly a mission just for fun, no random or historical missions.
- There is a two players mode, where you can select the players nationality and the game gives a random mission, but you can't set any details of it.
- Plane database is incomplete, you can see the details about your flyable planes, but not the others, there should be bombers and scouts, etc.

This is frustrating, because everything is already in the game and much older games have these options.

Game map is small and badly designed: well, i really just tried the first non-training mission as american, maybe other maps are fine, but bad map is bad. I tried the highest difficulty, which would be enjoyable, the game placed my lone pilot against two enemies with friendly AA guns close to the left map edge, trenches on the middle and german AA guns on the right side. I chose the only sane option and I flew above the friendly AA guns and as they scattered the enemy planes, i was able to shot one down. Until that everything was enjoyable.

But after that i had three times maneuver into the front of the enemy's gun to prevent accidentally leave the map on the friendly edge, which would end the mission as i fled. Nevertheless the fourth time i chose a maneuver which prevent me to turn away from the edge of the map and i "fled". That is worse than lost the dogfight, it is infuriating. While if you leave the map on the enemy's edge, the game just put you back like you made a turn.

I still think it could be a good game, but it don't deserve a thumbs up.
