Please Nerf/Fix Xu
Xu is too good. Primarily, his hacking stab doesn't cost the one AP it claims to cost, it only uses his attack.

Even if it did cost one ap, it would still be incredibly good since using it on safes let you save so much power and avoid daemons(especially in more secure facilities). And he can also use it on droids.

Game is cool, but I can't resist minmaxing all my agent loadouts by taking Xu.

If you can't resist, maybe it's time for you to believe in almighty power of "Random" button?)

It's not supposed to cost one AP. It's one less max AP for the agent. Xu starts at 7 AP.

Oh. Good point.

He is good, but not overpowered. Every Agent has there good and bad sides.
Different Agent`s gives you another game experience, try them out. This is why the game has so much replay value ;)

Strangely, I just triggered an Authority Daemon on a safe with Xu's ability while a Mask Daemon was active. Is that supposed to happen?

I think that Tony is definitely one of the better if not the best agent in the game. Being able to kill drones without a rifle and opening safes without hacking (and thus not triggering daemons) is insanely strong. However, you can beat the game just fine with the other agents. If you really can't resist always picking Tony (shame on you), try the randomize button. I've had some amazing setups this way. Even with agents like Shalem and Nika, which I normally don't even touch.

I'm about 90% certain that using the pocket EMP on a mainframe device hosting a Daemon still activates the Daemon.

And does it kill drones? In my experience it simply disables them, which is less beneficial than outright hacking them since they get up the very next turn.

I don't think Xu is overpowered by any stretch. I would say that he's on par with Banks as far as utility goes.

It shouldn't and in my case it never did. Retrox, if you sure it was his ability and not, let say, hacking chip, than it looks like a bug to me.

Camera drones without protection would be killed by EMP from Xu or EMP-device. All other drones will be only stunned.

IMO, he is amazing but so every other agent in the game in one way or another. No big reason to change this.

Xu kills camera drones permanently. Other drones can be taken down for a turn and then you can babysit them.
Also I noticed at later days in endless that safes can get magnetic reinforcements which turns Xu's pocket emp into a 2 firewall buster. Still good since it has no cooldown and it still avoids daemons, but I'm starting to rely on him less as the game goes on.

He is great though, definitely my favorite pick.

Why so much ppl don`t like them?

I love them both. In one Team, they kick ass. Sure, it is a more aggressive way to play, but sometimes, you just need a little violence ;). Both of them are a great addition to the more "supporting/utility" Agents, because Shalem removes danger from afar if it is needed, and Nika`s 2 attacks bring down a room in no time.

But don`t get me wrong, every combination works in one way or the other.

If Xu is OP, then so are Decker, Internationale, Shalem, Nika, Banks and Prism (haven't used Sharp enough to confirm yet).

Everyone is OP, therefore nobody is OP.

More seriously though, this guy is OP:

Xu is incredibly overpowered... at first. his ability to breach stuff may be amazing, but he's easier to get killed than most of the others due to being down an AP, and an augment slot being taken up by a skill that is only a loot assistant everywhere but in sankaku facilities. Given that alot of what he does can be simulated via buster chips and the cooldown reduction implant, he's not exactly the best unit in the game once you have cash flow and upgrades

Wait, so how does his AP loss work then?
The description sounds like when used, he loses one max AP for the rest of the mission. But surely that means you can only use his ability once or maybe twice per mission before he becomes dead weigh who is hard to extract.
How are you guys using him so much?

this say all ;)

Personally, I can't stop using Nika. Give her a pair of legs that reward 6AP for KO's and she can solo the entire story.
