You need to craft it and after to place it on a shelter spot.
You need 4 objects to craft a shelter.

Hello Stephane. One more thing... I noticed - if player recieve a message with day number on top of the screen and in this moment player in crafting menu, then player can't see pop-up message with day number (message dissapear too fast). So how many days in survival mode? And after 20th day there will be end of the game or days are unlimited?
