Controller Support?
I understand that you are trying to increase revenue streams with the DLC and iPad edition, but where is the contoller support? Is this even on the Road Map? Or did I miss an update where this was enabled?

That and the level editor right before I purchased it. EPIC FAIL!

Would it not be incredibly slow and cumbersome to have to move the cursor back and forth across the screen with a controller d-pad or joystick? I've no idea how difficult or not it is to include such support in a game, but the nature of this game doesn't seem, to me, to lend itself to using a game pad. You wouldn't want to assign a button to the End Turn button, so at least once every turn you're going to have to slowly track the cursor all the way to the bottom right corner. And if the speed up the cursor movement, then you're going to have trouble getting it to select the action icon or unit that you want to click on during the turn.
Get a cheap Bluetooth mouse (the game doesn't need a keyboard) and a hardback book to rest it on, which you can then pass back and forth between your friends.

Or try one of these apps which claim to enable the controller to simulate mouse/keyboard (I can only vouch for ControllerMate being able to do what it says, but I'm sure there must be several on the PC that do the same thing)

We did start work on the controller, but has never been completed as other feautres have taken priority. We've had to spend a lot of extra time on optimization and fixes as well so lost some time there.

The guy who's been working on the controller has been full time on the new MP lobby system and coop feature.

So far the editor is still planned to come after coop

Thanks for the update :-)

I understand that you need to have revenue streams and fix MP issues.

I really shouldn't need to buy new hardware to support a feature that is still coming.

But the other idea seems more reasonable.
