Multiplayer not recognizing additional xbox360 controllers

Hello! Great game, picked it up in the latest Humble Bundle, but for some reason multiplayer mode does not accept more than one Xbox 360 controller at a time. I have wireless controllers connected through an official (read NOT 3rd party) Microsoft wireless adapter. This setup works great with other games (e.g. Samurai Gunn w/ 4 controllers connected). I've tried restarting the game, reconnecting the controllers, everything I can think of, but it will only allow the second player to use keyboard (which is not particularly well-suited to this game).

Has anyone out there with a similar setup solved this, or is this one for the developers? Thanks!

Same problem here. Would very much like a solution...
Also, the store page says local co-op, but so far I've only found the "multiplayer" races. (This could be because I was trying to press start on my second controller though).

Same issue here. It worked when I had 1 Logitech F710 controller and a single XBox 360 controller, but not with multiple XBox 360 controllers. With multiple 360 controllers it seems to ignore all but the first.

yah i have this same problem whats the point of it being 4 player when you can only use one 360 controller and keyboard thats stupid why not allow 4 controllers it ignores the 2 second controller for me as well.has anyone even bother trying to find a solution for this because nobody has said anytihng new on this forum for a while.

i am glad i didnt pay fulll price for it and all i just got it ina humble bundle dont rember which one but it had a game or 2 or 3 i wanted that made it worth it

How can this still be left unfixed; reported this as an issue when I bought the game ages ago. Checked backed on the game now if they had fixed this controller issue and the slowmo bug which made me put the game on the shelf.

I contacted the devs about this, after a few months they finally got back to me, unfortunately they told me to use x360ce instead which I'm not sure even makes sense as they are already XBox controllers in the first place...

Game developer abandoned this game. If you don't believe me, send a letter to [e-mail]
I did a week ago - no reply as of today. Not even a Hello from hello Games!

P.S.: you may want to try x360ce, although you'll have to find all tutorials yourself - I made it work with a logitech controller and 3 keyboard players. Should work with xbox controllers.

Yeah, I sent an email to their support team back when I started this thread (right after the game's appearance in a Humble Bundle) and have yet to receive any sort of response. That was almost a year ago now.
