Can you skip modern day parts in this game?

Perhaps through settings or sth.

It's a big turn off for me since the 1st game. Never tried any AC after that. I'd prefer the game staying simple & focused by letting you play as the assassin directly without the modern day lab rat part.

Nope, but there are far less of them this time around, and they're pretty short. Ubisoft knew many people weren't too keen on the modern day parts.

Thanks. And from Gamespot video review it looks like the modern part are in 1st person camera while the assassin part is in 3rd person camera. What the ... -.-

I absolutely hate it. These scenes havei nothing to do with game, and I don't care for the"lab rat" implications.
