M&C won't work?

So whenever I play AC3 or AC4 now, it won't let me use my mouse and keyboard, even if my 360 controller is unplugged. The mouse cursor just stays in the top left corner and won't go away. I've uninstalled Uplay, thinking that would work, but of course it didn't. And now AC3 won't respond to my M&C or my 360 controller. WTF is going on and how do I fix this crap. Thanks!
