As It stands, he seems completly useless.

I sort-of agree. I mean, I understand why he exists: but it seems odd to me that you can't lower his price, the same way with Charon. A simple "Haggle" perk to lower his cost to 30% would suffice.

Then again, maybe that's for balancing reasons.

So there isnt a perk for it? Maybe theres a mod for it, or we just need to change a line in one of the game files?

Just wait until you've bought everything, he becomes the most useful thing in the game.

A lot of his use is for retrying fairy chests for runes, blueprints, and stat ups. As well, it allows for quickly retrying a boss if it kills you.

And yeah. Once you've bought everything, gold isn't even an issue, so it gets quite a lot more useful.

Exactly. Basically if you run into some challenges your legacy cant take care of, that requires specific runes/skills etc. He's extremely handy.

Obviously you wouldnt want to use him for the entire game, unless you're doing a speed run or whatever.

Ya, he is not suppose to be a guy who you use often. He is only there for some challenges, practicing the bosses, or just doing a really quick speed run. Even then, why do you want to use him all the time? Half the fun of the game is going through the random castles.

I only wanted to remove it because when I kill the boss after a bunch of trys, I want to keep all that gold he drops.

Then kill the boss without him then. It's the only way, and I've killed the first 3 bosses this way.
