On NG 2+, Dark Equipment aint dropping.....

I am missing 4 out of 5 dark equipment, but thet are not dropping, even from minibosses, giving me stat boost instead. What gives?

Maybe you're using runes to modify the content level so it's too low or too high? Or only trying for minibosses in a single area, one that's also too low-level or too high?

I got my Dark pieces in NG+2.

I got one on NG+ and the rest in like NG+3.

I got most of the pieces before then but they dropped in the lower part of the map which is the highest level of the Dungeon. But I still don't have the Chest piece and I just started NG+3

I've gotten 4 out of 5, 3 of them thanks to the compass (2 in one room). That's in NG+, but I'm nearly level 400 because I've been making runs trying to get the recipies.

You have to remember dark stuff doesn't necessarily drop every single time. Sometimes you need to fill up your smithy grid a bit more before the dark stuff will drop.
