What's stopping people from simply continuing to enjoy the modding tools that came out with TDD? Granted there were issues with that version of the game's HPL Engine, but that hasn't stopped people from playing the mods/CS's regardless.

Weren't most custom stories relying on sloppy jump-scares and poor storylines? LOL, I don't think I will be missing them.

Anyone can make a Moddb page.
There are a lot of them out there that people have added, that the game companies have no part in.

Plus, doesn't mean we can't make skins and models, just means we will have to map the old fashioned way (look up Penumbra Black Plague map making, its hard).

Map making for this will most likely invlolve using 3D modeling programs to make maps, like penumbra.

They really should add Custom stories support for AAMFP.Otherwise,after completing the game,most players will uninstall it and forget about it....I dont think the campaign will have a high replay value,since it will be pretty linear.Also i dont think the playtime of the Campaign will be that long.The devs dont need to add it ASAP at the release,but they should bring it later with a patch maybe.Otherwise this game will be dead and forgotten pretty fast.....

I think the chances of them adding CS support a couple of months after the game release are fairly high.

Frictional Games will be updating The Dark Descent's CS-development kit, the new assets from AMFP will be made available there along with a few other changes (source[www.frictionalgames.com])
