4 Players Local? Team Battles Against A.I.?
Play a lot of these local games with a child and they don't like facing off against me so try to tackle the A.I. with them.

Yep. Co-op survival mode against AI. It's really good fun.

Cool, thanks for the info. Now if they can just lower that price a tad - Unless I'm missing something and there's enough different content to merit that price....
Dance Commander Dec 11, 2013 @ 2:24am

Ha ha...the sixteen bit blood isn't too bad - There's a lot worse on our daytime TV over here. xD

Normally play Rotastic but since there isn't an official 'Team' match I just try and keep the A.I. away.

Quality > Quantity.
(It does seem a little expensive though, depending on where you are in the world, you might find it cheaper if bought through the humble store)

If you ever need some good local multiplayer game suggestions, ask, me and my partner are massive fans and have amassed a over 70 game collection of just local multiplayer PC games.

12, soon 15 dollars for a simple, local MP-only brawler with retro graphics seems a bit excessive when there's deep, complex games like Spelunky and Starbound in the same price range. King Arthur's Gold's even cheaper and more detailed across the board than this.

Don't get me wrong, Samurai Gunn looks quite interesting and I have nothing against retro graphics, but it also does seem like a low-cost, high-price game.

Unless I see a promise for more content coming soon, I'll likely wait for a sale.

Quality > Quantity

That's not a saying to be taken so absolutely.

You can list some if you like.
The best one I've found so far has been Lego Marvel Super Heroes.
I hope they add a battle dlc so can turn on friendly fire.

I'm actually working on making a list, I'll pastebin it to you when I finish it.
I'd love to play that one day, however the demo tanked/lagged up my PC pretty badly, guess I'll have to wait til I upgrade my rig.

There's actually a frequently updated Wiki with all the Steam Local Co-Op games http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/List_of_Local_Multiplayer_Games

Nope, it's outdated, not very updated at all. Plus, it doesn't really give you an idea of what the game's about, sure, youtube vids could do that, but still...

Actually it was just updated December 10th, 2013 which was yesterday.

I run the list and stumbled across this post by accident :D

What do you mean by outdated? I'm adding games constantly and if you have any you see I'm missing I'll gladly add them!

It just seems a lot of games I know are local multiplayer/co-op aren't on the list.

Can you suggest some?
Good list, thanks.

If Fee Dee plays consoles as well he might've got confused with downloadable games for the consoles.
