Queen's Escape Ornate Sword

Purchased one of these. Says 5 sockets max. Seen others with 6. How is this done? Thank you. Really need some help. I just don't see what I did wrong.

it depends on the item level on your particular sword. if you are in game you can check item level by holding alt while hovering over the item. if you are using poe.trade it will tell you the max number of sockets at the top of the listing. you can use vorici to force 6 sockets regardless of item level but it wouldnt be worth it in this case.
