is SE gonna patch this game?
sry, but this DC-Version is a joke. It's worse than the original version due to bugs and horrible performance... Is there going to be a patch or can i forget this game?

I think so, only I can't say "when", no one have a magical wand as far as I know, they are working on it, still no ETA, though.

If you have an Nvidia card, you might want to try the registry hack posted on some forums to improve your framerate:
Use regedit.exe
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eidos\Deus Ex: HRDC
Set D3D11_CREATE_DEVICE_PREVENT_INTERNAL_THREADING_OPTIMIZATIONS to 1

This only works for the vanilla version (or it did for me at least) DC version still stutters like crap

Works fine on the Director's Cut, if you change the correct registry entries.

No, it doesn't. It helps, but it still stutters like mad even if you modify all three relevant registry entries in the HRDC section.

Well, every PC is different still they patched the issue in the vanilla where the reg mod was no more needed, the question is now "WHY HERE AGAIN, SHOULDN'T WE SEE NO MORE ?"

What stutter? The game runs flawlessly @ max settings on 1920*1200 on a poor card that is 560GTX here.

You're 0,5 hours in, don't you think that's a little too early to come out like you did ?

What difference does it make? People report stutter from start, it's not like the game engine or texture quality changes as you progress through the game...

It matters instead, it means you haven't seen enough...

I've played through the non DC edition 3 or 4 times, I do not understand what you're trying to prove here.

That the DC edition ain't the NON-DC one and that you haven't seen enough of the DC while your NON-DC experience doesn't matters when speaking of the DC one.

Hmm, strange. Don't have any issues on my side (played 26 hours already). Didn't have any issues with the original as well as far as I can remember. Just lucky I guess

Tell you what, you go work on your grammar and come back some time later, ok? The game works and runs flawlessly here as it does to numerous other users as well.

Grammar corrected Mr. 'Nglishman, about everything else, yes, you're right, especially when you don't play it the game runs flawlessy. On paper.

Name "♥♥♥♥♥♥" someone else, the smartass you're defending has only 0,5 hours in the game, or the time to only take a look at the new options menu, this makes HIS opinion slightly unreliable, futrthermore I believe he is in that "People are complaining ? This can't be true, I have to do something." stance.

Yes, the "majority" complains, the both of you are elite enlightened ones who doesn't see issues at all in this game, especially your comrade after 0,5 hours in, and the rest of us is just BLIND.

Unfortunately, any game release or patch will have issues for some people. I am glad there is a public place to archive these issues and make them known, but it also has to be recognized that some people have no issues. I had some small stuttering, and the registry fixes got rid of them for me. I play on the highest settings, at 1920x1080 resolution, but that is hardly a boast. I could hardly play the non-directors cut on my last computer, no matter what fixes I implemented. I am sorry for those experiencing such issues, and hope that a patch - official or not - will rectify them. That said, I feel I have more than gotten my 5USD's worth of added content and experience from the game.
