[problem] game save file dissapeared

i played up to a part and the save file dissapeared and when i started up again i had to restart the game from the start. pls help.

Please try locating your save file which should be here:
\Program Files\Steam\userdata\[USERID]\237930\remote\
here:
\Program Files\Steam\userdata\[USERID]\237930\local\
or here:
\Documents and Settings\User\Saved Games\Transistor\
depending on whether you are running the game outside of Steam or if you are using cloud saves.

The file is named Profile1.sav assuming you have not changed your profile.

If one of those locations has a save with a recent timestamp, try copying it to the other locations and seeing if that gets you your progress back.

I've been able to successfully continue my progress last night from a save point, but after I updated to v1.26010, my progress reset back to the start. Im sorry but I do not understand what you mean by finding a recent time stamp. I found the folder 237930 which contains Profile1.sav, but what do I look for after that?

Just to clarify things, I did not see anything but the Profile1.sav file in the 237930 folder. I haven't switched profile yet.

I did this, but it won't recognize my save at all. It shows up in the folder but not in game.

Is there any way to avoid having to locate saves and copy saves every time I play? I just want to start the game and be on my last save, should I disable cloud saving for that?

Not found, even in folders from numbers. searched everywhere.

I found it (two file) > C:\Users\[USERID]\AppData\Local\TramSimVienna\Saved\SaveGames "Profile Save List.sav" and "76561197992556759.sav" ...but I am not sure, if is it
