Fix the 24 fps fullscreen lock ASAP
Haven't seen this since Crysis 1. When playing in fullscreen at 1080p via HDMI on an HDTV it locks the frame rate at 24 frames per second. Ridiculous.

Needs a fix straight away or a free coupon to all users for a monitor with a DVI cable ;)

Custom resolution will not work. I had the 24 hz issue with LG DM2780D monitor and GTX 570. I solved it updating nvidia drivers to 332.21 and replacing the generic monitor driver with the .inf of lg webpage (of the monitor)

Im running 1080p at 60fps with a nvidia 680gtx to a tv through an hdmi cable and have no problems at all. I wonder whats causing this lock for people, as it seems to only be affecting some.

Wow. The game certainly does lock the framerate to 24. Yes, I connect to my Sony TV via HDMI.

Will try the direct refresh app. Basically unplayable at 24fps.

I play on a TV using HDMI at 1920x1080p with no issues. 60fps

Edit: GTX 670

I don't think this game gives you the option of using custom resolutions. I know I had to fix the problem in the Crysis games using 1916x1080

Luckily, the game glitched out early on, prompting a restart and trip to the forums where I saw this problem also existed.

The game will not run while Direct Refresh is enabled. Cannot choose custom resolutions

This utility does nothing. Still locked at 24fps.

I'm sorry to hear it doesn't work for you. I've been using it for years whenever I stumble upon the 24Hz bug.

I've just tested it again with different resolutions and they all work @60hz. In any case, Direct Refresh is minimized in my system tray, and if I right-click on it it says shows me that 1920x1080 @ 60hz is enabled. I'm running an HDMI cable to a Rotel A/V receiver, and another HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV. If I exit/close Direct Refresh the frame rate locks back down to 24hz.

I'm sorry it didn't work for you guys.

I was getting 60 FPS earlier. Granted I was playing fullscreen 1680x1050 instead of 1920x1080, but that was only because I had black borders around the screen at 1920x1080 Fullscreen. And I am using an HDMI cable,

I read that custom resolutions don't work for this game. Also they have inferior colors on some displays for some weird reason. A near identical resolution looks worse on my TV.

Getting the same thing on my GTX 760. It's only if I go full screen though. I switched to window mode, and although annoying, it runs at 60 fps now.

To me, it locks to 1080i60.
Video card: AMD Radeon HD6970
Monitor: Asus VX238H. Happens both with HDMI/DVI, and with an active DisplayPort->HDMI adapter.

This can be worked around by running in borderless fullscreen. Apps like GameCompanion will work!

What I did was change my desktop's resolution to 2560x1440 and that made the game run at 1080p x 60fps. I think changing your reolution to anything will fix the problem until a patch comes out.
