My previous topic got locked (didnt realize there were some topics that were a no no on the steam forums)

But this is the deal guys. *breathes*. Im not as angry anymoreso this post wont have as a large.. impact.

BUT THE DEAL IS. Always online DRM. your game WILL close if you lose net connection. Test it for yourself. I thought it was a bug at first, but I noticed that every time my game crashed my net connection was iffy.

Mannually disconnect your internet mid game. the game will instantly close faster than you could alt f4.

This sort of DRM needs to stop. I got what I paid for, and I dont want to sound like ive got some bloated sense of entitlement,

But godamnit guys. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Why are you punishing us legitimate buyers and fans for purchusing your game.

please enable online mode. Not everyone is blessed with a perfectly stable or even quality internet connection. THe game will crash. no not crash.. crash implies a bug but this is ♥♥♥♥ing intentional. the game will SHUT DOWN if your net connection wavers. IT WILL NOT OPEN in offline mode.

This sort of drm is the worst, it is painful, it makes me feel like i cant be trusted, and it ruins the quality of the game for some. not for all, but for me and others it does.

I dont want to be punished for buying your game. I just want to play it and enjoy it.

Please remove this Drm. Please allow offline mode. for gods sake we are your fans over here, people that grew up with metal gear or are just being introduced to the franchise.

and youre leaving a sour taste in our mouths. you are treating your fans like criminals.

I can definitely confirm that not having an internet connection (Steam Offline mode) won't let you play this game: CTD's instantly. I agree with the general consensus: it's probably a bug, and there's a respectable way to go about this.

Go into your router settings and change the channel it operates on. You shouldn't have any problems once you do.

It should be possible to get a refund, seeing as they went ouf of their way to make sure no one knew about this before release. But of course that doesn't mean you will get one, because who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about the customer's right?

Its been confirmed by multiple people in multiple threads.

we dont know if its a bug or intended yet. no workarounds yet either.
