Then from there copy all the files, except the text files if you don't want to, to inside the folder where game exe and x360ce are, replacing any already existing files. Then run the game and that's it
I'm just gonna type it out in a "For Dummies" format for accuracy sake.
This is what I used :
https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/detail?name=x360ce_lib32_r848_VS2010.zip&can=2&q=
https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/detail?name=x360ce_lib64_r848_VS2010.zip&can=2&q=

1. Now you need to use another game folder (one that configs automatically and works instantly, I used Metal Gear Rising)
2. Drop the x360ce.exe, and the lib32 contents (minus the readmes). Do what you need to do to get controller 1 to light up green. Now drag and drop all those files to the Strider folder.
3. Run the x360ce.exe once more, hit save and close.
4. Drag and drop lib64's files into the Strider folder, and overwrite. (do people with 32bit comps need to do this?)
5. DO NOT RUN x360ce.exe
6. DO NOT RUN x360ce.exe
7. Run Strider. Voila
Could use more people to clarify this.
TL:DR
Don't run x360ce once you overwrite with the lib64 files. So far all that's happening is the client crashes upon hitting Exit Game.
@Axel Daemon & Stebsis
Thanks a bunch guys:)
This seems to be the most common mistake people do when using x360ce. You only use the program to actually setup the binds; the DLL does the rest. Having it run in the background only causes problems.
To clarify for people: You need to use the 32bit DLL to configure x360ce, but then replace the 32bit DLL with the 64bit DLL for it to work with 64bit applications, like Strider.
I personally don't have any issues aside from it complaining my config doesn't match the version when starting the game, but I'm using a slightly older version of x360ce with the newer DLL.
thank you! this worked for me!
