Is there a limit to how many gamepads you can play this game with? What is the most you have tested it with?

This game is very interesting. Most games that support 8 players or more tend to be party PVP modes, but this game is a rare local multiplayer cooperative mode. The only major downside is the UI design. Only 4 slots can be displayed at the bottom. We have 6 people playing with controllers, and due to the limited UI information, many players cannot see their own status. They can only randomly select ships to join the battle. We really hope that the UI issues can be improved. That would make it perfect!...
