I'm try to start Galactic War game to play but will not let me at all. I mean I bought this game for MP but i want play singal player first to get the hang of it.

Don't use Galactic War as a tutorial. Sure, it could help you ease into the game, but it gets very difficult and frustrating, especially if you don't get certain techs.


Start an AI skirmish, and set either your resource multiplier to 2, or the ai's multiplier to something below 1, or just keep it the same and try your best!

Under the single player tab, same as where the Galactic War button is, there's an "AI Skirmish" button.

This will let you host your own ai skirmish, where you can set how many AIs there are, the resource multipliers, and what system you will play on.

I want play Galactic War because I like hard stuff but I can't because go war button missing.
I think it because of the screen being cut off from Galactic War resolution problem. Half the screen is cut off because i'm playing on 26" wide screen tv instead of normal monitor.
