I really like this game.

I really like this game, what it does it does well.

The vocal part of the community isn't entirely happy with everything and I'm a little sick of hearing it. Some of their reasons are understandable, the game does have a few bugs.

If you're considering this game check out the review section. The reviews are mostly positive for a reason.

I can see why people wouldn't like the game, but I honestly can't understand the sheer volume of some of the hatred directed towards this game.

I like it too :)

People expect it to be the best RTS ever made, when it's default $30. Nothing like this has been created before, which is why some fundamental RTS parts are not as good and that's what people are used to.

i agree its a great game and loads of fun i havent encountered any bugs and the game runs fine for me. its a really enjoyable game

Supreme Commander fans who thought they were getting a better SupCom.

I love this game. Played TA back in the day, loved just running around and blowing everything up. This game feels like it's more true to the TA that alot of us know and love. I did enjoy SupCom as well, but it felt like it was lacking something.

Finally something positive to read so i will comment, i like this game, i enjoy spending 45 mins playing a round in GW then ill come back to it the next day. I have spent over 100 hours on this and its fun. I have had absolutely no issues with performance, i only had one issue with a commander landing on a metal deposit and wouldnt move till i knocked him off it. Other than that its been doing everything just fine. I found sub commanders lacking in the beginning then all of a sudden i had 4 on my side a few weeks later. I will continue to play it and skip the posts about it being rubbish. I am not going to waste my time reading them or commenting.

Glad to see some players like this as i do.

With all the spiritual successor games out here these days its increasingly clear that that mindset isn't working. Though at least Planetary Annihilation said it was a spiritual successor to TA rather than SupCom. That's at least better than Firaxis proclaiming Beyond Earth as a spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri only to release a game that is nothing like it at all other than being turn-based strategy game that happens to be set not on Earth.
