The gameplay is somewhat... laggy. The game runs fine actually but when I see the units and bases doing their thing they tend to stall. Mind that I can still move the camera around without any frame issues whatsoever, would someone mind giving me a hand with troubleshooting this?

Sounds like network issues.

Make sure your drivers are up to date, disable any mods and check this list:
