That would be fair, If only it wasn't for the fact you are both bang-on correct.
The game is alpha, with a DLC store to boot. $10 for a skin in a game lol
Grow up, kids.
And no I'm not a fanboy. I picked this game up on a wimp 2 days ago, and I know of ones that are better quality.
grow up? well, i work for the money to buy me games, so i can give my opinion to it if im not satisfied with the thing/game i bought.
I call myself a Fan and i wouldn´t say that this game is not finished if i weren´t so sure.
Nevertheless i will continue to play the game, and i still wanna have fun playing it. right now im just really mad at the devs, who are rushing the realese and pushing it out of their responsibility, cuz now they can always say: "hey guys its released, we´re done!" its not the first time something like that happend. Notch did the same with minecraft... at least some other folks finished it for him.
That would make Uber pretty big liars, and i don't see any hint into that direction. If they just abandon the game for no reason, you have my torch. Until then it's better to calm down and follow the information, the devs are pretty open on the forums.
Uber said themselves 1.0 is only a number for them, it's NOT supposed to be the full game (which tbh is a strange approach). The remaining features will be worked in just as they were before release, and the game will be supported as long it is financially viable.
That's the plan. As you see, 'we're done' isn't an excuse, not even with Uber's interpretation. It's always good to be careful in the game industry, but to me the devs seem to be very reasonable.
However, I can say that PA is not a 30-50€ but a 15-20€ game. That's the release price they were always aiming at. If you want to compare PA to other games compare it to games in that price segment, not to AAA titles with a budget easily 10x times as big as Ubers.
Land-units seem to do ok, Naval still needs work. Orbital queing also has some smaller quirks.
Stop being childish, first asking questions, and then jumping to conclusions from things you don't know. Critizising Ubers approach is ok, but you should know what you're complaining about.
To our knowledge, not a single promised feature of Planetary Annihilation has been cut.
1. Lockup are probably some serverside-bugs coming from the last update, which already are worked on. Furthermore, atm games are running on a weak server, the offline mode will have the 'server'-performance shoot thorugh the roof.
Ubers servers will be upgraded, the community will bring it's own servers.
2. Option menu lets you customize visibility of build and other orders under the UI settings.
3. That extractor thing sounds like a bug, the construction has some rare, janky moments. Make a report and see if people can help you! Either here or:
