Please remove the new HUD
The new HUD is the worst thing out of the update for me.
The most intense moments in KF are when your spot gets overrun and you start to run for your life.
Getting lost and fighting like mad looking out for your mates or trying to meet at well known spots through chat is the best thing in this game.

Please don't take away this aspect of the game by telling where everyone is!

i already mentioned this problem today, the more we are complaining about this, more chance we can change this ridiculous icons on maps. i feel like playing Insurgency now where the game tell me friends or bots friends positions.

The HUD is what you see on your screen. (Health, Ammo, Wave Counter, etc)

Are you talking about the player location indicator?

It's a very good addition to the game in my opinion. Players can easily see where their buddies are at and run to them, instead of being lost and dying alone trying to find them. It's also nice to quickly see which players are not with the group.

Sure it is usefull, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ your pants is part of the KF experience.
This feature casualizes a part of the game imo.

I would be fine if your teammates positions would be revealed up to hard, but not on suicidal or hoe.

Yeah maybe a challange for above hard could be to remove it. I just know it's good in public games so randoms know where to go because they don't communicate.

Yes it is helpfull without a doubt but it kills a part of the atmosphere.
You could also say, give every gun a aimbot, because pubs you know, they can't be trusted to aim well.

I remember back in KF1 where we eventually get overrun and have to bail on the spot, and begin the kiting game and hoping to run into your medic or beserker. That was fun, and panic inducing and intense.

I took a break from KF2 and came back, and what the ♥♥♥♥ are these huge white icon on my screen? They actually added a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ function to tell us exactly where our teammates are? What the ♥♥♥♥ is this ♥♥♥♥?

Take it back... TAKE IT BAAAAAAAACK!

Flashlight you can use whenever, boss health bar always visible, teammate icons from across the entire map...the game just gets dumbed down more and more :(

People complain no matter what. Oh it's too hard, oh it's overpowered, oh it's too weak. You can't please everyone.

While I feel it's a nice QoL change, the new HUD doesn't help the mood of the game. Losing allies on the map can be fun, and make a sudden zed rush or burst open door even more problematic. While I think it should be active for nearby players (like the Medic's old HUD) to get a quick stock of nearby players, you should definitley be able to lose track of players.

Also, is it just me or was the old HUD red? The new gray displays feel really sterile, and I miss the old color splash.

Make it based on difficulty and there would be more people happy on both sides.
If you want a easy game just don't play sui or hoe and keep player locations up to hard.
We got different movesets and zed speeds already depending on that, imo it would make sense.

this was a terrible idea
please make it a serverside option to disable it at the least

or better yet, just take it out of the game completely
