Articy:Draft SE - Is this program for me?

Hello! I'm truly curious if this program would benefit me in what I'm trying to do. I'm not going to argue the price point or anything like that, I'm just wondering if I'd find value/practicle use with this program. Here's what the deal: I've been running multiple tabletop gaming sessions for the last three years. In a few of our campaigns we have extensive storylines with hundreds of NPCs, quests that have been completed and changes brought on to our little make-believe world because of the choices that my players have made... Would Articy:Draft SE be something that I could use to keep track of this data and display it in a way that would make sense to my players? I'd love to use Articy to create content that I could upload to my website in some shape or form and have it viewable by my group at some point down the road. Would I be able to do that with Articy or is this more of a strict PC gaming type of authoring tool?

Would it help you keep track of the data and write it down? Absolutely
Would it help represent it to the players? Most likely (About uploading it to your web page though, you can export data to .doc or .xml, but you could also use screenshots or other similar tricks, it would of course always be best if they took a few hours to learn the program and had their own copy.)

Articy is not restricted to creating PC games, it's ideal for tabletops too. Anything that has a story, characters/items and specific locations in it.

The data is really "visual" so it'll make a lot of sense to anyone reading it and it's easier to write it down to the smallest details, you can literally put a story inside a story inside another story inside another story (infinitely) with the flow system and stuff like that.

I suggest you try the two week trial and decide. That's really the best way for you to be sure.

For a tabletop RPG i think all the features in the program will be very useful to you. The custom templates will be very powerful for writing characters or monsters and detailing them.
