Still pending approval. I'd expect it in the next few days as that's the usual time frame for valve approvals. For reference, it should be zł107.99 when they're up.
Great I think we can all agree this is a fantastic change for a lot of countries that were sorely missing their own currency :) Valve really stepping up to the plate on this one.
Unfortunately i didn't see brazil in the list of reduced regional prices. Does that mean the the price would increase if you guys didn't decide to keep it like it is no?
Thanks for all the kind words and support, we certainly hope you will be as supportive to other developers regardless of the steps they take. :)
I can now confirm that at the very least these changes have now been approved by Valve so at the very least regional changes should now be live. As for the new currencies, I cannot confirm whether this is the case, if not it's likely that Valve will be waiting for more developers before launching the currency officially so they offer the best experience to customers in the newly supported regions.
Please let us know in either case and if they're not yet live I wouldn't expect it to be too long, probably in the coming weeks but I'd imagine certainly within the year at least.
Cheers!
That's correct if I didn't mention a specific currency the price would have risen. In the case of Brazilian Real I think it was an increase of about R$2 or something along those lines.
I'm sure Valve's long-term goal is to support as many currencies as possible so hopefully, you'll see your currency at some point in the future.
Have Turkish lira's advised price changed? I really would like to know :)
Yes for WFTO it would have been about TL1.00 higher.
329.99
All currencies are adjusted for local economic strength and buying power. So although prices are advised based off the USD price it could be quite different from region to region. Incidentally the price for WFTO in Vietnamese Dong will be ₫249,998 based off Steam's advised price.
Thank you <3
₴379 :)
