Obsidian is unbreakable by workers or spells. But if it is near by brimstone and someone use underminer to destroy brimstone, the closing obsidian would be also destroyed.
I'm asking about fortified walls, not about obsidian's destructability.
I was mentioning how i have obsidian and brimstone in places to give perspective on why the Underminer would already see a lot of use on said map.
But perhaos Apocalyose will destroy it
I'm mostly going with the hope that, since enemy fortified walls could only be destroyed with a certain spell, and given the Underminer is the only one that can break brimstone(and indirectly, obsidian due to, its power over brimstone), that maybe it can be the only thing that can break enemy fortified walls with the setting.
That one should still allow fortified walls to be destroyed with underminers, hellfire potions, or by blowing up nearby brimstone deposits.
That's the one i'm talking about, under the Map & Terrain options.
If i can get it confirmed that underminers do, indeed still destroy or atleast unfortify fortified walls with it disabled, then i'd probably have it disabled.
The only reason i haven't tried it myself yet, is i'm stuck with a computer that can just -barely- run the game in general, and by that, i mean, it can run over 10 fps if there's nothing going on and i'm staring at the floor, in a tiny map.
You can imagine why i don't exactly have the desire to try it myself when it can take over five minutes to load a 50x50 blank map.
Turning off the mutator "Fortified Walls Can Be Dug" still allows Fortified Walls to be unfortified and destroyed by Underminer constructs and the Armageddon ritual. Turning it off simply prevents your Workers from being able to dig out enemy Fortified Walls (your own Fortified Walls can still be dug).
I'll see if we can add something to the mutator tooltip to clarify this.
Hope that helps :)
Tim
I was incredibly confused who Memute was then for a second, til I saw your name ;)
