First, I'd like to thank you very much for the patched executable. Second, yes, it still forces 30hz (24hz through HDMI) when fullscreen is enabled, but with the borderless fullscreen tool, your fix works wonders. Controls are actually much more precise at 60fps, and it shows when you're jumping around on enemies heads to reach some place higher. Thanks again!!
It's the dll that's in the Castle of Illusion folder with the COI.exe. If it's not in the folder you would just have to reinstall the entire game. The COI.exe you get in this thread should just be copied over the other one. It is located in the Steam folder, then steamapps > Common > Castle of Illusion
