45 FPS lock?

Nothing forced in Afterburner/Fraps/CCC. Specs are...

i7 3770 @ 4.2ghz
16GB DDR3 1660mhz Crucial ram
Asus 7950 @ 900mhz (tried my 1.1ghz preset, didn't change anything)
Installed on WD Caviar Black (Samsung 830 SSD boot drive)

Quality preset set to high @ 1080p. Don't seem to be able to break 45fps... It doesn't dip either, which is good, but why on earth 45fps?

I didn't check my framerate but it doesn't run at 60fps that's for sure :\

My rig: Phenom II x6 1090t @3.2Ghz, HD 6950 1gb, 4gb Ram DDR3, Win7 Ultimate 64bit

I noticed this as well, same problem with a solid 45fps. I mean it's very much playable of course, but it's obvious our hardware is capable of 60 no problem.

Thanks for the information, again im glad i waited instead of purchasing without getting this kind of information i feel sorry for ppl who still pre purchase games and or buy a game without coming to the forums and reading what issues are on a title (regardless of price).

Ill keep watching to see if this and other issues are fixed, if not im glad i didnt support a company who releases a game with this kind of limitation or issue.

This isn't a game that I'll be spending a lot of time with, but for the price, it's worth it. Yeah it's not a great PC version, and yeah there's not the value for money a game like Torchlight II offers, but you get your £7's worth.

This game is great for co-op. Its hard to find good multiplayer games that you will actually want to play with friends. 45FPS or not, this game is actually really enjoyable with 3 buddies. Hopefully the devs fix it, but if not I'll still get a good 6-10 hours of co-op with my friends I'm sure.

6-10 hours of entertainment is certainly worth £7 (considering a 2 hour bluray is 20) but there's better value for money to be had with other games really.

45fps? :o The devs were around a while ago answering questions. I wondered why I kept getting blanked :D

I asked them 3 times in two seperate threads.

"Is there a framerate cap, and if so, what is it?"

Low framerate, incorrect FOV, I'm out. All I need now is for someone to tell me the mouse control has positive/negative acceleration and I won't even buy it for a quid in a sale.

Another quick, lazy, insulting, shoddy console port made by people who don't know/care what they're doing.
