No Time to Explain
Why did the "Linux version for Steam" thread get deleted?
I was subscribed to it and a new post was added that I didn't get to check before the thread was deleted.

Is this because the devs plan to backpeddle on their past statements about working on a Linux port?

If I buy now will I get the mac version? When will it be available?

You should get the mac version when it becomes available; the whole steam-play thing, and all. Couldn't say about time frame [hah] though.
I doubt that the Linux / Mac versions will ever get released on Steam.

Mac version is live now. It's best played in window mode though.
Nice, thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to the Linux version.

Now that SteamOS has been announced, we're waiting to play around with it and make sure whatever we build on Linux actually runs on SteamOS
That is semi-good to hear. I don't agree with the need to wait, as Linux is Linux and any differences between SteamOS and pretty much any mainstream Linux distro on the bits that matter are going to be minor at worst. I am sure they will be including libraries from here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-runtime meaning that setting up a test system should be trivial.

Just seems like more stalling to me. Previous link[tinybuild.com] to buying the DRM-free version has disappeared and now 'buy' points to Steam..where you can't get the Linux version.

*should be* is where it gets a bit difficult :)

We are going to work a lot on No Time this month. The priority is to enable the Level Editor for Windows, get controller support for Windows.

Then transfer all of this to both Mac and Linux, with proper full screen support. The current Mac version is a little bit iffy, especially if you have a high resolution monitor-- it doesn't scale properly.
