General Feedback (not bugs)
Got the game last night, been waiting for it.

I've not encountered any bugs besides the well known alt-tab problems.

The gameplay is fun and engaging, the level-up tree is deep and interesting and there's a great variety of shops and things to buy/bless/upgrade.

My only disappointments are the voice acting and the way you've used the music.

Voice acting is very uneven - the Tutorial narrator and Jos are very good, everyone else pretty bad. The sister has a Spanish accent? Given that it's a $15 Greenlight game I wasn't expecting Robert DeNiro but I'm disappointed you couldn't find actual Canadians to track this.

The music is FANTASTIC but is used in a very uneven way. The Loading screens have the best music, but it stops as soon as the Continue button appears (BTW the sound effect for clicking Continue is horrendous, like fingernails on a chalkboard). I want to hear more of that great music. Don't stop it, let it play while we finish reading the Info cards before hitting Continue.

At the same time, there's only ONE track used in the screen you spend the most time in, the Night Strategy screen, and that tune is not the best one, it gets old REALLY fast. Can't you mix in some of the Loading screen tracks?

Also, I've been finding little text errors, should I tell you about them or is it too late to fix those? A big one would be on the cards that show Weapons Stats - Should be Damage not Damages.

I'll try to see is we can do something about the music during the day (but I think after those small "bits" of music, people started signing on some of the tracks...). You can write us a mail directly (or send us a message on our facebook page) for the text errors you found. Thanks for the feedback!

I also think the music is fantastic, and I also agree that the music played during the loading screen should continue even after it's done loading.

Another thing that seems awkward are the 3D cutscenes, but I'm sure you've read about that in other discussions.

Other than that I can't complain, the game runs great on my PC, the resolution looks fine and I absolutely love the design of the towns and menus. The game is challenging and has a well balanced difficulty.

I haven't nearly finished the game yet, but I already know I'll buy tome II if you decide to make it ^^

Will there be a manual? Until then, is there a list of keyboard commands somewhere?

Maybe add to bottom of FAQ?

Edit: Thank you - I use a Nostromo N52 Speedpad for my left hand so having no reference, with the alt-tab problem, made it difficult to program.

We can look into writting reference for the keyboard commands.

Basically you got

WASD - Movement
Shift - Sprint
Space - Dodge Roll
E - Use Item/Trap
Q - Shout
1-8 - Use item in pack
LMB - attack
RMB - rage attack
Scroll wheel - Change bullet type
Hold Ctrl - Rifle Mode
LMB - Fire
RMB - tap to reload faster

Just a comment about your jab at the voice acting. I agree that the acting is uneven, but it's not terrible.

But seriously, what do you think 'Canadians' sound like? The sister sounds EXACTLY like a friend of mine who lives in.. wait for it.. wait for it.. LaSalle. That's in Ontario. Canada.

Just a few thoughts....

As I have posted many times, GREAT GAME! I do agree that the load screen should have music the entire time and not just until it loads. As far as voice acting goes, I like it and see no issues with it. I may be missing something but I am not catching on to what people mean by un even. I do think that the game is missing a tutorial though. It may have just been me, but ---> I would have like to seen a tutorial on how to buy and equip armor/items. I did not notice for a while that when you buy the boots/vest that you have to equip it on the left in the 3 open slots. I thought that it was okay just to carry it. --- Other then that the controls have been very basic and easy to pick up. Although I hate playing inverted, it would be nice to have that option for those who want everything invereted.

I think that there is a good level of diffiuclty. I would like to have seen more then 2 levels of difficuulty. Maybe a 3rd expert type after you beat it with both brothers. This would also extend the game as well as new challanges await. In this mode, you could replay the game with either brother. New achievemnts could be added to support/encourage this.

I'm having trouble with combat, even at the very lowest the mouse sensitivity is too high. Also you have to be pretty dead on accurate to hit anything so it's kind of frustrating.
Last of all is there any way to get to the main menu from any place but the main game?
Cougarific 24. feb. 2013 kl. 17:00
Agree that even a text pop-up the first time you enter a shop explaining the different areas on the screen would be helpful.

Agree that the default mouse sensitivity is a bit high in first-person.

On the voice acting, uneven means there's a whole spectrum of voice talent on display, from very good to good to okay to bad. I believe you that they're 2012 Canadians, but this is supposed to be the mid 1800s so I was expecting French or at least French-Canadian accents.

Again my expectations aren't sky-high for a Greenlight game! You've done a fantastic job altogether - been waiting for this since it was Greenlit and I'm not at all disappointed.

I could look at the initial splash screen and info cards all night, they're really beautiful.

I love going to the village - shopping's usually something you do so you can get back to the action, but I just like being there.

And I tell you - this game is actually frightening. When the bonfire goes out and you're still fighting a Grand Werewolf or two, I tend to pee a little.

@TheCursedMonkey hehe, for Windigos packs, an explosive barrel is not bad ;-)

Same here. I find the game basically unplayable because my rifle is useless. I set my mouse sensitivity to the lowest possible settings both in Windows and in the game. My arm gets tired dragging the cursor over the tactical map when placing traps. Then I try to shoot a net and suddenly a micromovement of the mouse translates into a huge swing of my rifle barrel.
