Pre-Loading & Game Size
This one is aimed purely at the developers / steam team.

-When will the game be available for pre-load?
-What will the size of the game be?

I ask this because my internet is slow and I wan to play it as soon as possible!

Not sure how pre-load will work, that's a Steam thing.
I'd assume the game will preload.

The game will be about 1.7 GB, as compressed for download.
That would be the standard edition btw.

What what. 1.7 GB is tiny by today's standards. I'd guess less than a half-hour to d/l and install at cable connection speed.

I just bought Assassin's Creed: Black Flag on sale and that was a *30 GB* download that took more than 2 hours.

1.7 ay? That's pretty small size, considering the games I'm used to. Heck, I'm still playing Baldur's Gate and that's about the same.

1.7GB! I was expecting 10-15 GB.

1.7 is preload, that isn't bad at all. Last time I had a preload was rome II it took more time for my comp to decompress and install the game then to download it, although Rome II sadly is a bad example of a new release game...

Isn't pre-loading standard?
Nice way of preventing peak load on the servers.
I'm not sure its standard. A year or two ago it wasn't. Steam might decide based on demand and game-size which get preloads. At 1.7gb it's probably not critical for a preload. Would only take me an hour or two to download and I don't have the fastest connection.
<3 non-bloated assets.

I miss the pre-CDROM days when people actually knew/learned how to manage assets within size constraints. You folks are a dying, under-appreciate breed. o7

Trust me, that teaches you how to optimize content size and memory usage : )>
