Try running it in compatability mode for win7 if you are on win8 and CB mode xp sp3 if you are on 7 ;') Also run it as admin.:B1:

the problem should hopefully resolve itself

just in case

verify game cache

check firewall/router logs

try doing a tracert to update server, someone posted how to find out what the server is

if it continues contact hammerpoint support, tell them details of your problem, your city,state,nation and ask them to check their server that your region would be using for udpates.

they have new release so their servers should be getting saturated with requests.

so this is why i say give it a little time.
