ive helped a good number of people both here and in private chat and i can say with near 100% certainty that once they cleanup the mess they have on their computers the game runs great.
the game is not at fault of pb is not properly installed, updated and running and neither if steam installer failed and neither if directx or c/c++ runtime are not properly installed or corrupt. or if their windows or file system is corrupt or even if they bought the game and are trying it to run it on a box that never met any minimum specification, not the current ones and not any past ones as well. and the game will certainly not run if their boxes are full of malware and viruses or worse. which you do run into many people that are not computer literate that think a pc is like an xbox and just buy a game and expect it to work. well many times things work out great. but if you check any number of steam forums you know there are a good number of people with any game in these forums with real issues not related at all to the game. many people have their computer full of garbage they download and install from the web much of it malware or worse. many people have trainers and aimbots, ect that they get for one game and that continue to run or be resident long after they stop playing that game, but forget to uninstall or uninstall really does not uninstall and these so called free things are nothing but backdoor to worse stuff being installed on their boxes and when they run like malwarebytes it comes up with good list of problems which tke hours to help them cleanup... ive seen it all, but rarely have i seen a game that is fully the problem. normally after hours of helping them you often are able to clean up all the mess they created and finally the game runs. surprise. ... people need to learn a pc is not an xbox... u r the administrator and watch what you install. cause delete is often not delete with much of the crapware....
Not from memory no.
I posted this one a few weeks ago and have since reposted it with a bit extra information
I'm not a techie. But I can say that most of those solutions can be found on the main forums. People just don't know how to research sadly.
I'm merely here to inform people of the horrible business practices of the developers and to avoid them at all costs.
It's been back for almost 6 months now. They changed the name not long ago due to copyright issues.
oh my, well then can you please enumerate the most aggrecious of the horrible business practices of the developers so people like myself who may be unfamilar with them can become better informed...
I will be adding them to the post shortly.
Were you not here from day 1? Or thought I saw you post that you've been here since alpha. If you have, then you should already know what they've been doing, and continue to do
I have and am starting to doubt you. Because everyone who was here back then knows about the developers and their horrible business practices.
its a simple matter of clicking on my username and then on view posts...
let me bring to your attention your first post, its just a click away

That post was made back in mid February. It's still relevant but is buried deep within these forums.
So I made another one which was also buried and now have reposted that same one with some updated information
