Have you tried to change between the intel and nvidia gpu in the nvidia control panel?

Rightclick on your desktop, you should see a button that says "Nvidia Control Panel" click on that, afterwards a window like this should popup http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/9996/d0ps.png
