solo play?

i'm thinking of getting this, kinda interested, but i was wondering if anyone thinks this game is any fun just going solo? i'm kinda one of those lonely gamers who doesn't know anyone with a decent rig, so i play most everything solo. this really looks like it's leaning towards co-op play with friends and all that, so i'm not sure how much enjoyment i could actually get out of it. anyone got an opinion on going solo?

I played it awhile back and don't think there even is a solo play. Just hop online and see how long til the hackers kill of your guy and take your stuff, really. Unless something has been cleaned up, but I highly doubt it.

ya, i didn't really mean solo as in offline, i meant more along the lines of just playing by yourself without any back up. but the more i read about this game, the more it just feels like a really bad, open ended counter strike with some dumb npc's (zombies) thrown in. i'm trying really hard to find the appeal here...
