This feature has NEVER been in the game although was falsely advertied on the 1st release on steam.
"A Huge Persistent World: The War Z is an nonlinear open world game"
Wrong, I can place a wooden barricade in front of a settlement or anywhere in the world, it would be gone within 1 day.
"Combination of First-Person and Third Person Perspectives"
I am somehow convinced that this is the only thing true on the steam page. Even if these perspectives do not work properly.
"Meld of PVE (Player versus Environment) and PVP (Player versus Player)"
I am not quite sure what to say about this apart from that this is a whole big pile of bull*. There are no trees or plants that can be somehow dangerous towards me. Aka the environment. The only danger in environmental form in "The war Z" form is walking down a tiny hill and risking your life by doing so (I am not kidding, you can lose 50% of your HP in a few steps down a small hill, I am talking merely 1/4 meter).
Player versus player? More like Hacker vs Hacker.
"Safe Settlements where Players can access their global inventory"
They are not safe, hackers have the possibility to shoot in settlements.
"Create your own Clans"
If by "Creating your own clans" you mean creating some lousy group that does as well not work properly, then yes, that's part of the game.
"Reputation system – Choose to become a lawman or bandit"
You do not choose. You will always be killed if you try to play nice and if you play bad, you'll be banned for it or constantly removed from the server because shooting someone with a sniper rifle counts as hacking.
"Leave Messages for friends in the game world with a time capsule"
I have tested this feature, the time capsules are neither persistent. I have even bought them in the in game shop, left one behind on one of the servers and 3 days later it was gone. Why do I know that exactly? It was placed in the radio tower at the airport and 3 days later, it was gone.
"Immersive environment with unique and spine chilling sound effects"
These so called "Spine chilling sound effects" are just a bunch of randomized sounds that do not even fit together or fill any sort of purpose. This game would do much better without any of those weird sounds that do not fit the game. Unique? Yeah, they are unique and bad.
"Huge variation of melee and firearm weapon types"
There are 11 pistols, 1 "Crossbow" which does not work because this game lacks any sort of physics engine.
There are five shotguns of which the so called "rare ones" are found everywhere.
OH, LET ME ADD THIS: THERE USED TO BE GRENADES IN THIS GAME! But because of LACK of a proper physics engine, it was like throwing a stone at someone, except a stone would have a higher chance at killing your enemy :) (Grenades do not explode and they do no damage)
15 Assault rifles which, quite frankly only vary in slight damage differences. But you can basicly kill anyone at any range with these weapons, they are not limited unlike pistols that somehow are not able to kill anyone greater than 100 meters away.
7 Sniper rifles which basicly will get you the name "hacker" stamped on to your forehead because they let you hold your breath in a fashion that you can easily kill anyone on almost any sort of range.
9 Sub machine guns which do hardly any damage and are as well limited in range.
4 light machine guns which are loud, fast and hardly do damage.
On top of that, none of them will make you think you will have it hard against zombies once you have found a hammer and it is impossible to craft any sort of melee weapon. You cannot even tear a piece of metal out of a car and try to use it as a makeshift melee weapon.
Funny, huh?
Not going to let this thread go down.
Yes it is.
Therefor, it is also possible that people may have missed this.
