That speaks volumes and why this game shouldn't be allowed back on steam.
The issue arises when you defend the ethical and moral choices of the management of Hammerpoint. They have shown a lack of respect for Gamers in particular, and consumer rights in general. I think most people have a problem with the BEHAVIOR of Hammerpoint. It does not help that a majority of the supporters act like petulant children rather than try to have an open, honest and intelligent debate. This thread is one of the few that hasn't fallen to name calling yet.
It seems to me that the marked rise in semi-intelligible comments and threads in the last day or so may have been orchestrated through the War-Z forums in a petty attempt to spam, or harass people into silence. I truly hope this is not the case and that from here out we can discuss these topics in a rational adult manor (regardless of the age of the poster).
And before the "you are just a DayZ fan" tirades start. I do not, nor have I ever played DayZ. I bought the game to see if it was as bad as everyone says and requested a refund after 4hrs. My opinion on the quality or missteps of the art and design direction is based on being a gamer since 1984 starting on the Atari 2600 and 5200. For the last two decades I have been working own my 2d paintings and pen work for fun and in the last seven years I have gotten into programming and creating 3d art in Max and Maya in addition to earning a Bachelors of Science for it. My opinions are only opinions however. The great thing about art is that it exists solely in the eye of the beholder. So take sides and feel free to disagree. It would be wonderful if we could get a MMO of a Zombie Apocalypse that was accessible to all, had lovely art and many things to do, and was run with respect and honor. I just don't believe WarZ is that game at this time, I hope someday to be proven wrong.
It has been going for many months, and a large portion of those months the devs done nothing but tweaked a few settings.
Also no, the whole argument and reason it has gotten so much hate on steam is they said it was a release. NOT a beta, Not an alpha, but a foundation release.
Oh and when they were getting masses of funding, know what they done?
Went on holiday to vegas.
Check dead linger, a small dev community bringing out a good zombie survival, they have limited funding but spent all their holiday's working on this around the clock,
