A question on healing

OK my health is at my ankles, will I heal over night or do I have to buy a med pack ( I just brought the game so I dont want to be spending all my gold credits on health and vaccines,Im wondering if I am going to have to keep doing it), also since I am low on health does that also mean I have contracted the virus, if so, how do I know?

By the way loving the game so far, great buy for me as I am bored of most other games, this reinvigorates my gaming fun, and as I love rpg's this is perfect! I love to look in every nook and cranny.

No you will not heal over night , and when you have the virus it has a 5% on the health bar HUD.
Also no you don't HAVE to buy from the Marketplace. I got heaps of loot/meds and never had to spend any gold coins.
Try doing Smallvile runs from the North SafeZone to gear up items.

Health will be found in obvious places.

Ambulances & Hospitals.

Antibiotics, Painkillers, Bandages. These all heal damage.

For infections you need vaccines.

Certain foods will also heal a small amount. These can be found anywhere but also in the obvious place. A grocery store.

Soup, Tuna, Ham, Energy Drink, Juice, Coconut Milk, and maybe a few others will heal you about 5%.

Good luck and don't get eaten.

As a last resort... just die and respawn in an hour with full health.
