Here a unbaised review of the game

If you guys want a unbiased here it is. I have never play dayz and don't care about the media frenzy about this game. So don't be mad if I sound nice about the game at the end. I brought the warz through their website and not on steam. Here go

War Z started frustrated due to the 1900 MB of download yeah it like download Shogun Total War 2 but longer and you have to keep you internet on for it to download. It took me 4 day of babysitting the computer just to play the game. So I was willing to wait for the game to start. This game is very hard at first I keep dying due zombie ,but eventually I found a sweet spot to find guns close to the safe zone. Use better melee weapon then a flashlight.

This game is like playing a hoarder version of Skyrim with no fast travel. The world is huge and travel time can be boring as hell. Where are the cars? I hope they coming soon. The best place to loot from start out in a small town and go from out in the world. The game can be very punishing and cheap. You could die just walking out of the town with a lot of loot and be kill by camping player heavy armed waiting at the safe zone taking all your loot.

Here a few tech problem I run into during my time with warz. Please forgive if I don't list all them. I know there are about 900 bug but I list few that are game breaking for me.

1. The boot out back to the main menu. This the worst for me. I am play the game and a zombie attack me and the game boot me out. Back in the main menu I die and lost everything I own and have to start over.

2. The drop in fps where high populate zombie are at (like the airport). Yeah I set it in the lowest setting and I'm get 4fps at the airport and dying a lot. This not good time.

3 The loading in the environment. yeah I am out the in wood and zombie pop out and kill me. I did not hear any sound and no warning.

I'm done with the bad part here some positive of the game.

This gameplay is fun for hoarding gamer like myself. Lot of gun and pvp can be brute and fun ( that if you're not against hacker). The world is huge and realistic it like hardcore mode for Fallout NV. as you try to survive in the world as long as possible while searching for food and drink. As you worry about other player if they are really friendly just pass through, travel buddy or a raider wanting to take your only can of ham. They will kill you just for have a flashlight or even nothing at all. So that can be funny some people. Killing your travel buddy for a sniper rifle or a large backpack. This game can be a great fps like COD but with a huge world. It fun getting away from a bad fight to the safety of the safe zone because the enemy is out of ammo and distract by zombie.

Here my final verdict for the game a 6.5 out of 10

This game in all honestly is at around 4.5/10.

It has the potential to max at around 7/10 if they keep updating it but I doubt it will ever get there.
The game is much better than the reviews make it out to be, but the shady way it was introduced really gave what could eventually be a decent game two black eyes and a pair of broken legs right off the bat.

@oh Mama It my honest review of the game. I have play worst game then this the game. 6.5 is fair score there is no hater bias or fan boy bias in my review. I'm not a fan of dayz or warz I just play warz for fun and let people know about the game without the fanboy and hater crowds talking about it.

@cnconrad yeah, I agree the update help but they have a long way to go. If they have better antihacking and anticheating software it could be a great game.

Anyways, you are wrong about this "huge world". It is actually a lot smaller than you think with a lot of open empty woods with repeating textures. And you forgot to mention that you can just stand and melee in a corner and not even get hurt by a zombie unless it bugs out (Which is does do quite a bit, hell, try running up or down a hill and you will randomly drop dead).

I applaud you for giving a fair review. You really should see Day Z though, to understand why this game was created in the first place.

I'm going to be brutally honest though, so please don't take this as offensive. The quality of the game at this point is completely pointless. The devs have done unforgiveable things to their own paying customers (and continue to do so, judging by the amount of threads popping up). Their business practices can't be rewarded; and in fact need to be punished. Buying this game hurts the community far more than most players understand.

@Revelene Yeah english is not my first language. It a huge empty world but I see as a cheap Fallout New Vegas type world for 15 dollar compare to 50 dollar game. Me giving a 6.5 is actually a bad score for a $15 game and also there over 900 other bugs i didn't mention that are there because i have not happen to me yet.

No I didn't buy off of steam. I went to the website itself. good thing I brought it early because I got 350 GC add for the early revive patch they did.
