how does warz start up?

well all my friends say that when u open the game it auto logs in but when i open it it opens a launcher and always says invalid username or password
what do i do im so confused

if you bought the steam version

if you have not already done so download, install and run the steam version

then when prompted you have to register a new email address and password and accept to link you existing steam account with the newly registered email address and password

you cannot use an existing email address and password
