it's not all that bad as people make it out to be...

it runs, plays, looks and sounds great, really to problems to speak of.

just go watch some gameplay and if$5 makes you nervous wait for sale...

yeah it goes to a dollar fifty on sale i have over 1300 hours put into this game it is safe to say that this is my game of choice for one reason.its because of the pvp, the pvp in this game is the only thing that has my attention.well worth 5$. no questions asked. in my opinion no one ever gives this game a chance in the pvp sector of it they melee a zombie and think thats all too it, its not at all.

do not buy the game, it is ♥♥♥♥ and the developers are letting the game die slowlly, they even took out punkbuster (anti cheat) now everyone has hacks

If your looking to get this game just to PVP not the game to get so many other games out there with better well everything when it comes to a mmo shooter. Not what this game was even intend to be all about the main focus of this game was not the PVP part of it but that's really what happened to it it is now a low grade want to be COD game. Good joke here and i'll just skip to the punch line {There's zombies in this game}

buy Day Z standalone. It has a larger playerbase. superior crafting and customising mechanisms. Day Z is actualy a fair game whenever i play this i just get killed by somone who payed theyre way to the top. so yes ythis game is ♥♥♥♥. it has a lot of potential though just wait a bit

If you can't tell if a game is worth playing or good or bad after 100 hours worth of game time that's pretty bad. If you really want to find out if the game's for you just do some homework on it you don't need to put any game time in at all. Go watch youtube videos of game play, watch streamer's of the game, read up on the company's and DEV's history with the game, read the offical forums, read reviews from player's and gaming mags, watch video's of hacker's playing the game. Tons of info out there just take the time and look you'll find the answer your looking for.

It's worth 5$ - nothing more, to be honest..

I (along with many other - including a few friends) got fooled into the $60 Legend-pack, when the game went up on "pre-order" (04/10/2012).
I still havent gotten every part of the package, so I (along with, I'm assuming, plenty of other buyers of the Legend-pack) got scr*wed over, pretty much..
The thing that we didnt get, was the included 6 months of Strongholds hosting.

It's awesome if some people got it - me and 3 friends surely didnt and just got an insulting reply when sending a support ticket about it, and no "fix" to the issue.

I havent given the game any playtime, for about ~8 months or so (the last time really only an hour or so..)
I've gotten 130 Hours on Steam (a fair bit of that, just having the launcher open to re-download their failed patches at beginning, on Steam) and about ~2x that on the client before it got on Steam.

It was actually pretty fun, back when it was "new" (despite the obvious bugs and glitches - and before the massive sh*itstorm of bad PR and devs screwing everyone over). I had a great time, with some friends - no doubt about that.
Now.. well.. I dont really know how it is now. But last I played; it sucked..

TL;DR - $5 is "okay" for this game.. But dont get your hopes to high :)

this is a good game if u have a buddy or two to play with. if u dont its still fun but alot harder
