Well, try playing vanilla for a bit and check if the same happens.
If not, it's one of the mods you are using.

This appears to be a pretty common Mac issue, but alas no solution has been suggested. It makes the game unplayable in the end.
In the content/data folder there's a file called audioevents.xnb; open this with a text editor (but don't modify these files) and look at all the file paths in there; see if there's any one that doesn't exactly correspond with files in content/audio/sfx, down to the casing. If there's something that doesn't match, rename the file so it matches exactly the definition in the xnb file, and see if you get more crashes.
Thank you for the suggestion. I am not entirely sure how to read the text file information. If you can explain to me how to interpret it (I see a lot of case differences) then I would be willing to take the time to cross check it.
Is it possible that the game is trying to play a song which when I am playing will just cause a click, but when I save when it is trying to play that song it crashes?
